The main testing purpose of the rain test chamber
This invention is suitable for waterproof testing of external lighting and signaling devices and automotive lampshades, testing whether electrical products, housings, and seals can ensure the good performance of equipment and components in the rain. This product uses scientific design to enable the equipment to realistically simulate dripping water, splashing water, and spraying water environments. The introduction of the integrated control system and the adoption of variable frequency technology can automatically adjust the swing angle of the rainfall sample rack, the swing angle of the water spray swing arm, and the swing frequency of the water spray volume.
The rain test chamber is used to test motorcycle lights, wiper performance, window motors, waterproof strips, car switches, anti-theft devices, locomotive instruments, motorcycle locks, navigation systems in the defense industry, missile fuses, nose cones, radar cones, and rainproof performance in the aerospace industry. The rain test chamber mainly includes: water tank, water pump, pressure reducing and distributing device, pressure gauge, flow meter, water spray pipe assembly, swing pipe swing drive mechanism, workbench rotation mechanism, electrical control system, visible tempered glass door, deceleration mechanism, etc.
Rain test chamber body material:
1. The outer shell is made of cold-rolled steel plate with electrostatic spraying/the inner wall of the working chamber is made of SUS304 stainless steel plate.
2. Stainless steel water spray swing arm.
3. High-pressure water pump.
4. Silicone rubber sealing strip and imported waterproof sealing rotary joint.
5. Variable frequency speed regulator and speed control motor.
Operation matters of the rain test chamber:
1. The plug at the tail of the link tester is the power supply for starting the tester. Plug in the plug before testing and start the tester.
2. The tester should be placed on a flat surface, and the adjustable casters at the four corners of the bottom of the tester should be fixed to prevent the tester from shifting during the test.
3. Check whether the water tank inside the tester is full of water. If possible, connect the tap water pipe to prevent the water tank of the tester from running out of water. Our tester water tank is equipped with a ball valve, which will automatically prevent water from entering the water tank when the water reaches a fixed value.
4. Open the inner box door, place the sample on the turntable; then use cable ties to bundle and fix the sample on the turntable to prevent the sample from shifting during the test, resulting in incorrect test values.
5. Adjust the height of the turntable so that the distance between the sample and the needle is 200 mm.
6. Check the number of nozzles on the swing pipe. The number of openings for standard IPX4 should be greater than IPX3. The rain test chamber only needs to install one open needle hole for the blue needle port part.
7. Close the inner box door, press the red switch button, select IPX4 waterproof test, set the test value of your own product; according to national standards, during the test, the swing pipe should swing 180 on both sides of the vertical line, and the test duration is 10min.
The rain test chamber mainly concerns the test of the greater impact of climate environment on product aging, pigment fading, and metal corrosion. Therefore, weather resistance tests are increasingly valued by the rubber, plastics, chemical, automotive, and textile industries. There are many factors that affect the climate environment, such as sunlight, temperature, humidity, and rain. The rain test chamber is a kind of environmental test equipment that simulates rainfall. During the test, the product is placed in the rain test chamber to test its simulated performance.
